A photographer never stops. I see images to capture all day, every day. Its pretty exhausting to be honest! So when lockdown started and my weddings postponed, I found myself thinking of things to capture. We’d go out on our daily walk and see friends and chat to them on their doorstep. So I started taking my camera out and took some shots of those friends. I’d bought a bike to keep up with the kids.. and word of this doorstep project quickly spread around the school Mums.

When some asked to pay me… I decided to collect and raise for charity. Admittedly at first I thought of collecting for local businesses that were going to be hit with the lockdown…. but figured dividing that out may be tricky and I’d perhaps only raise around £500. So it made sense to collect for the NHS. Little did I know I’d end up photographing over 200 homes, cycling over 30km and raising over £3000!!

I’ve met so many lovely faces and its made me even happier to be living in the little Hertfordshire market town of Tring!  I loved the Hold Still initiative by The Duchess of Cambridge, who is Patron of the National Portrait Gallery and supported by international law firm Taylor Wessing.

Here are a few… I couldn’t possibly post them all! More can be seen on my Instagram page.
